Thursday 22nd January - walk ** – Around Felixstowe – cloudy with light rain.

Looked look of our back bedroom window just after 7 and saw some nice colour in the sky so quickly drove down to Felixstowe pier to take a few weather pics, that turned out to be the best part of the day, I had hoped to go windsurfing again but the rain arrived so I knocked that idea on the head and did my exercises instead while Mag did her prom walk and said that the massive pothole at the top of Convalescent Hill was being repaired:) We had arranged to pick Maeva up from St. Andrews nursey, we have fond memories of that as our boys and many of our minded kids went there going back 35 years, wow we are old!!!! After a bowl of soup and with the rain stopped we decided to walk to St. Andrews, down to the prom and yes they had made a good job of repairing the pothole, there was a good SE breeze on the seafront so it was not overly pleasant but we made it all the way to The Fludyers before turning up Brook Lane to pick up Maeva, she was a little quiet to start with but quickly came round, she is certainly a ray of sunshine on a gloomy day! We had fun for an hour or two before her Dad picked her up and she was fast asleep within half a mile of leaving and we will do it all again tomorrow:)
